Born and raised in Guatemala in a Christian family, I moved to the United States with my three children in 2013 after the death of my husband. This marked the beginning of a new chapter of learning, with a new language and culture—challenging but not impossible with God’s support throughout. Working towards my dreams and goals, I prepared for 5 years, and in 2015, Zaira’s Jewelry was born.
Each piece is crafted by hand with high-quality materials, attention to detail, subtlety, time, and love. Zaira’s Jewelry supports a small group of economically disadvantaged women, T’zutujil Mayas from Guatemala, who are single mothers and wives, providing economic support to their families.
